Long before Blane founded the company, our ancestors crafted furniture for loved ones and friends. (The name ‘Schneider,’ meaning tailor in German, reflects our centuries-long tradition of creating beautiful, bespoke products.)
Blane’s journey blends this generational passion with professional expertise. Holding a Mechanical Engineering degree, he honed his precision and problem-solving skills working for general contractors and engineering/design firms in the commercial construction industry. This experience sharpened his ability to design and execute projects with meticulous attention to detail. From the first bags boards made in college, to tackling bespoke cabinetry and furniture, commitment to functional art shines in every piece—each a unique, heirloom-quality creation destined to be cherished for generations.
